<span style="color: rgb(100, 100, 100); font-size: 20px;">大家知道，佛法里面有讲到，很多的佛法当中认为，须弥山周围在咸海中的四大洲，实际上以后你们学佛可能就会知道，因为佛法把四大部洲分为：东面叫胜神洲、西面叫牛贺洲、南面叫瞻部洲、北面叫俱芦洲。可能大家都知道佛教为什么把它称为四洲？实际上，人间有四个天下就是四大部洲，它这个意思就是分别代表四类社会阶层里的人道众生。</span><span style="font-size: 20px; color: rgb(100, 100, 100);"></span>

<p>
<span style="font-size: 20px; color: rgb(100, 100, 100);">比方说，在《阿含经》当中就讲，人间有四个天下就是四大部洲。比方说在部洲里面，东面的叫胜神洲——东胜神洲，实际上它是在须弥山的东面。他们的人的面孔有点像月亮的形状，人的身长像八寸那么高，这个寸就是很高很高，人的寿命基本上都是两百五十岁，你想想看，我们人间的话，如果活到两百五十岁那整个就是根骨头了。其实寿命——讲到部洲里面生命的寿命是什么？寿命就是你的福报多少。所以很多人说你寿命长，实际上你这个人就有福气；你寿命短的话，你这个人福气就短，所以人家说短命就是这样。身长就是代表能够造各种业，当然这里面不是说造恶业，是造善良的业、恶业，造业的能力，是这样的。</span>

<span style="font-size: 20px; color: rgb(100, 100, 100);">南瞻部洲实际上讲的是什么呢？那里的人的面孔有点像地形凹凸不平。所以你们有时候经常看见有些电影里面的科幻片当中都是各种人的脸，有的就是脑门凸出来、眼睛扣进去、鼻子又凸出来、嘴巴又扣进去、下巴磕也凸出来，像这种就是在南瞻部洲的人，这种人就比刚刚讲的东胜神洲的人要稍微短一点，短一半大概，人的寿命就是一百岁，而且在这当中人的福报比较小，人比较贫苦，经常半当中就死了，好像有点像人间，但是在这个洲里你别看它因为在这些苦的地方，那些人特别希望脱离苦海，跟佛学佛，所以有很多的菩萨就到南瞻部洲去救度众生，这其中三个就等于像三个社会阶层一样，所以当时连佛陀也去救过，佛陀现贫苦身去救底层的民众。</span>

<span style="font-size: 20px; color: rgb(100, 100, 100);">西牛贺洲，他们的身人长比较高，人家一般是三寸半，他是十六寸，人的寿命是五百岁，就是这样，非常厉害，但是他有一定的福报。实际上它是属于另外一个道法，像我们说的其他的宗教阶层。</span>

<span style="font-size: 20px; color: rgb(100, 100, 100);">北俱芦洲实际上就是在须弥山的北面，人的脸也像个地形凹凸不平，他们这个地方人的脸比刚才的西牛贺洲的要怪一点点，因为他们颧骨都突出得很厉害，他们基本上寿命是一千岁，而且在这一千岁当中不会死掉。实际上北俱芦洲就是代表着什么？就是代表着苦修行的一些外道众生，他们已经修到清心寡欲了，他们在四大福报当中基本上接近小乘的修行要求。</span>

<span style="font-size: 20px; color: rgb(100, 100, 100);">所以这四大洲实际上就是我们说的过去讲很多菩萨都管住的四洲，在人间也有很多人家说是很多菩萨、仙、神管住那些四大部洲。在人间也有很多人来自于那个地方，所以你看很多人的脸像怪怪的有时候，凸出来凹进去，有的人长的就像外星人一样，实际上就是从天上其它地方过来的。</span>

<p>
<span style="font-size: 20px; color: rgb(100, 100, 100);">接下来跟大家讲的就是，大家要知道其实在《西游记》当中也有记载着关于三岛十洲，包括西牛贺洲。那么在人间的西牛贺洲在哪里？就是天竺，天竺实际上就是印度这个地方。大家知道《西游记》当中佛祖跟五大菩萨。五位大菩萨，我不知道你们能够记得住有哪几位大菩萨，以后都要考你们的，你们都要记住。五大菩萨与佛祖在一起，那就是文殊、普贤、弥勒佛、地藏菩萨、观音菩萨。玉皇大帝是负责天界和人间的日常管理的，包括唐僧取经要到天竺那个地方去取经，所以唐僧取经的出发地，实际上在人间叫南瞻部洲的大唐，因为唐朝它是在南瞻部洲的。所以作者当时就说东胜神州实际上就是“东胜身州”，其实这个地方也就是神仙聚集之地，所以过去我们说唐僧出发地大唐，人家说大唐有很多很多神、仙都是在那里。有一个洲叫傲来国，这个国中的花果山就是孙悟空的诞生地，其实它也是在三岛十洲的龙脉之地。所以《西游记》很有意思，以后师父帮你们多讲讲这些，因为你们都看过这些，跟你们讲你们都特别喜欢。实际上，西牛贺洲就是灵台方寸山，灵台方寸山是哪？就是西游记当中的地名，叫西牛贺洲。世外高人当时叫菩提祖师就经常隐居在灵台方寸山的斜月三星洞里面修炼，菩提祖师就是孙悟空的启蒙老师。所以孙悟空的法名怎么会叫孙悟空？就是菩提祖师所取。以后你们大家要知道，人家问起孙悟空的法名是谁给起的？你就要知道是菩提祖师所取。他就传授了孙悟空翻筋斗、七十二变，都是这位菩提祖师所传授。</span>
</p>
<p>
<span style="font-size: 20px; color: rgb(100, 100, 100);">时间关系，下次再跟你们继续讲，颐和园内有一处观景名为“四大部洲”在北京颐和园。它在哪里呢？在万寿山的中部，就是北宫门长桥上向南面，你去看，建筑群体整个看起来就像四大部洲。当时就有很多的神、仙，因为他们从天上而来，他们就看见了天上的这些情况，所以在人间它们就象征着佛教的四大部洲，就在北京那个地方组成了这个汉藏式（汉朝和藏传）的建筑群，在它的周围就有四大部洲：东胜神洲、西牛贺洲、南瞻部洲、北俱芦洲。所以人家说中国人真的是非常非常有智慧。结果四大部洲的这些建筑没想到在1860年被美法联军烧毁；在光绪年间就在原来的地方修了一层香岩宗印之阁，其它真是瓦砾一片；1980年，国家拨巨资才恢复了原貌，彻底修整。</span>
